This information was officially released at a special press conference by the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan. The dynamics of the shootings were intercepted by early warning mechanisms, says the Ministry of Defense. Taiwan has activated defense air defense systems on full alert. “We condemn these irrational actions that undermine peace in the region,” Mo said in Taiwan.

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan prompted the CCP to “jump up” and announce military exercises. They will be carried out with live ammunition. China has announced that the exercises will run from August 4th to August 7th. The nearest exercises are 20 km from the mainland of Taiwan – in the Kaohsiung offshore area. China also conducts exercises in the northern, northeastern, northwestern, eastern, southern, and southwestern waters near Taiwan.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense reports that the offenders were conducting electronic jamming of radio frequencies today. The MoD says Taiwan’s response was an immediate expulsion broadcast and pursuit with anti-aircraft missiles.

BulgarianMilitary.com recalls that despite China’s threats against the US and Taiwan, Nancy Pelosi visited Taipei and met with the island’s political leaders. In response, China launched immediate naval maneuvers, which it called exercises, and promised to continue until August 7. China’s maneuvers are currently encircling the entire island of Taiwan.
