The information has not yet been officially confirmed, but it comes against the background of the already issued order of US President Joe Biden to strike at terrorists and their buildings by the terrorist group ISIS-K.
“We will respond with force and precision in our time, in a place we choose in a manner of our choosing,” Biden said, declining to give specifics on timing. “These ISIS terrorists will not win. We will rescue the Americans. We will get our Afghan allies out. And our mission will go on,” the President said. “America will not be intimidated.” Shortly before his statement, the four bombers were spotted in the Persian Gulf region.
According to military experts and political scientists, the upcoming air strikes will be carried out not only on the territory of Afghanistan, but also in Iraq and Syria. The Taliban have asked for help from the UN
Sher Mohammed Abbas Stanekzai, deputy head of the Taliban’s political office in Doha, met with David Beasley, executive director of the World Food Program (WFP), to discuss humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and the current situation.
“Both sides also discussed the challenges facing the country, adding that the World Food Program must provide immediate assistance to the poor in Afghanistan,” Taliban spokesman Mohamed Naim said on Friday.
“The delegation of the Islamic Emir assured the head of the WFP of security and cooperation and thanked them for the humanitarian aid,” the statement said.
There are fears of an increase in the terrorist threat to Russia
