MOSCOW, (BM) – Ukraine seems to be the first to do not withstand the tensions hovered in the air and carried out just over 100 mini-attacks on the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (legally recognized areas in Ukraine, unrecognized as independent by anyone – ed.).
Russian media have reported intense Ukrainian artillery strikes, including the use of mortars, on various rebel positions in the area over the past 24 hours. The information was also confirmed by Ukrainian media, which claimed that the forces of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics had suffered severe injuries, including loss of human resources.
Field sources confirmed to BulgarianMilitary.com that the Ukrainian army used 80 mm and 12 mm caliber shells and the presence of heavy Ukrainian artillery and 152 mm caliber shells. The battles were concentrated around Donetsk and mainly around the village of Horlovka, which is in the Donetsk region.
Since the beginning of this month, about 3,000 attacks have been carried out on the territory of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics of Ukraine’s armed forces, indicating that Ukraine’s armed forces have not abandoned the idea of attacking Donbas, which is currently preparing a springboard.
