WASHINGTON, (BM) – The American edition of The National Interest praised the Russian T-90M tank, calling it a “monster” that is “noticeably faster, more deadly and more tenacious than its predecessors,” learned BulgarianMilitary.com citing Vzglyad.

As pointed out by the author of the material, journalist Mark Episkopos, the T-90M is an upgrade of the proven T-90, which brought many improvements to its design. Thus, the turret of the tank was significantly updated. It received a new fire control system, a tricky dynamic protection “Relic”, an improved cannon, as well as a more powerful engine.
“In short, the T-90M is noticeably faster, more deadly, and more tenacious than its predecessors,” – said the columnist for The National Interest. The author of the publication called the war machine itself a “tank monster”, which “becomes more and more deadly every day,” Tsargrad reports.
Simultaneously, the Russian army plans to update its T-90 and T-90A fleet to the T-90M version by the mid-2020s, the author recalled. According to Episkopos, the modernization of the T-90 tanks is taking place against the background of the even more ambitious T-14 Armata project, RIA Novosti reports.
T-90M was developed by the Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering. According to the tank’s creators, it is the most advanced vehicle in the T-90 family and the most adapted to actions in current combat conditions, including due to the presence of all-aspect protection, a modern all-day, highly automated fire control system, and the implementation of measures to increase survivability.
Earlier, the German edition journalist admired the unparalleled Russian combat vehicle for supporting tanks “Terminator”, calling it a rifle tank “on steroids”.
