LONDON, (BM) – Sources in the British Army have revealed that tanks under Her Majesty’s moisture become an easy target during hostilities. According to them, the close distance for the destruction of tanks is surprising. For this reason, London began developing new camouflage for armored vehicles.

The military published the news last month in the British press. The British will look for creativity and innovation in development. The new camouflage will have to hide the tanks better. The new camouflage will have to deal better with the sensors, experts say.
The program is called the Multi-Colored Camouflage Scheme (MCDCS). The British military says that the experience in various missions and the lessons they have learned over the years have led to the need for a new disguise. “Camouflage must hide, deceive and survive on the modern battlefield,” writes the Defense Blog.
A new camouflage scheme is needed
The camouflage of the next generation of British tanks will change many realities existing in this area. Military experts say the camouflage scheme will change. This change will affect the human eye and the ability to detect. The new camouflage scheme must also influence the new modern weapon systems.
MCDCS includes the Laboratory of Defense Science and Technology (DSTL) and the Museum of Tanks. The Tavka Museum will help with an archive from the First World War. Archive projects for World War II paint, and materials in the Western Desert will also be displayed and researched. Experimental developments from the 60’s and 70’s will reappear on the “surface” in search of a correct and effective solution.
When the process of selection, development, and new camouflage scheme is completed, British soldiers will do tests. They will use various sensors, binoculars, and a simple human eye. Britain is famous for listening to the opinions of its military. The British Ministry of Defense often partners with industry and academia.
Tests of the new camouflage are expected to take place at the Army’s Armor Center.
