PANAGYURISHTE, (BM) – The Bulgarian company manufacturing optical products and solutions in the field of the military industry – Opticoelectron, has unveiled its newest mobile system, which was delivered and put into service to a customer in Europe, learned BulgarianMilitary.com according company statement.

Muson 19F is a surveillance and observation mobile optical system designed and built in a standard pickup truck.

“The Muson 19F is our latest innovative solution in the area of ​​surveillance, observation and security in large land field. It is built on our design with quality optical equipment and software that allows a wide range of integration in various other similar products. The range of the mobile system is 25+ km. and can be used for day and night surveillance,” eng. Boyan Garchev, Director of International Markets at the Bulgarian company said.

The Muson 19F features a day and night time and thermal imaging cameras, laser range finder, magnetic compass, GPS navigation system, self-powered supply source and a telescopic optical tower that rotates 360 degrees. Two control posts are provided for pickup operators, which can be quickly modified by a driving tandem to an observation team.

Opticoelectron has continued to operate under quarantine and physical isolation because ov coronavirus pandemic for the past 40 days.

“Our work is currently fundamentally different from two or three months ago, mainly because our partners and clients are experiencing the same difficulties as we are. Markets have shrunk, there are orders, but not as regular as before. We are trying to optimize the production process to an acceptable stage, taking into attention both current health factors and future economic ones,” Garchev also added.

Opticoelectron has successfully developed products and services in the field of stationary, semi-stationary and mobile surveillance in recent years.

The Muson series is sold end-to-end in Europe, Middle Eastern countries and the Asian continent. The Bulgarian Border Police is also equipped with both semi-stationary and mobile systems.

The company has its own innovative, creative and engineering team that succeeds in transferring ideas from the board into practice and a fully finished product.

“We are currently working on the next product in this area – Muson 20F. We have an order for it, but at this stage we cannot comment exactly who the client is. The Muson 20F will be upgraded version, as well as the software and optical products will be upgraded too. Basically, that’s how we work – we try to always upgrade every product to something better. This also applies to day and night sights, thermal imaging and SWIR technology” Boyan Garchev noted.
