In addition to the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, whose nearly 300 crew members were infected, these are the sailors of two more aircraft carriers of the American Navy: Ronald Reagan (under repair in Japan) and Nimitz.

Fifteen servicemen diagnosed with Covid-19 were identified on Ronald Reagan.

The number of infected on “Nimitz” is not specified. According to John Hayten, deputy chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, a small outbreak of the coronavirus occurred on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier.

As reported by EADaily, tests of 286 sailors aboard the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, moored off the island of Guam (in the Western Pacific), gave a positive result on the Covid-19.

Over 90% of crew members were tested. 2,329 sailors landed ashore, 1,700 of whom are in local quarantined hotels, previously informed at the Pentagon. In total, the team of “Theodore Roosevelt” includes about 5,000 people.
