ISLAMABAD, (BM) – The government of Pakistan has hired an army to help combat the spread of coronavirus in the country. This is stated in the notice published by the Ministry of the Interior on Monday, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

The decision to attract armed forces to help civilian authorities was made against the backdrop of an increase in the number of cases in Pakistan.
In accordance with the published document, the federal government draws an army to assist the civilian authorities in the fight against coronavirus in accordance with the 245th chapter of the constitution.
The document authorizes the deployment of armed forces in all provinces of Pakistan and in the capital.
Currently, 875 coronavirus infections have been detected in Pakistan. Of these, 15 were infected in Islamabad, in Sindh province – 394, in Punjab – 246, in Balochistan – 110, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – 38 and in Gilgit-Baltistan – 72. At least six people died.
