TRIPOLI, (BM) – In the last two days, the US and Italy Air Force lost one reconnaissance UAV in Libya and in almost the same area – near Tripoli, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

The losses of both the MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-9A Predator-B UAVs have been officially confirmed by the Air Force Command of Italy and the US Air Force Command in Europe.
According to a number of media, both UAVs were shot down by the Russian anti-aircraft rocket launcher (SAMP) Panzer-C1E, which is armed with General Haftar’s army. The complexes were shipped to Libya from the UAE, which had previously purchased them from Russia.
There is another assumption – both UAVs are directed to land with the help of Russian EW funds that Moscow has delivered to General Haftar.

Most likely it is a system for RTR 1L222 “Carpool”.
