WASHINGTON, (BM) – The US online news webpage C4ISRNET analyzes the Pentagon’s plan on how to to break through the defense of Russian air defense systems should a military conflict or war with the Russians arise, learned BulgarianMilitary.com, quoting russian media Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
The United States has created a special battalion for the Air Force (16th Regiment), which aims to solve “other typical tasks”, their main purpose is to counteract and eliminate the S-400 and S-500 in Russia or other countries, with the same systems.
All of this is described in a phased plan by the US military, the online edition says.
As a first action, intelligence gathering from the ANS, as well as from units of the US Army’s cyber command is assumed. Intelligence will only include the location of Russian air defense systems.
The second major step is the ability of the US military to unravel the structure and operation of the S-400 and S-500, and in the meantime, learn how to operate these systems. According to the plan, this task will be given to the 363 Regiment intelligence wing of the US Army.
(Editor`s note – In the last 48 hours, we have been analyzing a lot about the situation of the Turkish S-400 systems, and posibility the US and Turkey will set up joint groups to assess the impact of the S-400 on the work of the F-35.)
According to the Pentagon’s plan, the third notable step involves the involvement of the U-2 aircraft reconnaissance team to develop various variations of electronic warfare. These variations will be transfered to the US 480th Intelligence Contingent, which controls US ground systems and transfering of encrypted information to their air defense.
The final phase of the plan is the development of non-kinetic methods for overcoming the S-400 and S-500, which will be carried out by the 55th Intelligence Unit of the US Army and provide the necessary coordinates to the US Air Force.
