Russia has fired Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile from submarine (video)

MOSCOW, (BM) – The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informs about the missile firing carried out from the submarine K-549 “Prince Vladimir”, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

During tests in the White Sea, the Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile was fired for the first time from the board of the Prince Vladimir submarine. It was reported that the nuclear submarine was in an underwater position.

ICBM “Bulava” regularly hit the target at the Kamchatka Kura firing range.

During the firing, the area was closed to shipping. Safety was provided by ships and vessels of the White Sea base of the Russian Federation Navy.

“Shooting was carried out regularly. Training and combat units (ICBM “Bulava”) arrived at the training ground at the scheduled time, which was recorded by means of objective control” Defense Department of the Russian Federation said in a statement.
