Brazil Buys E-LynX Radio by Elbit Systems for Its Marine Corps

BRASILIA, (BM) – Elbit Systems will supply E-LynX radios to the Brazilian Marine Corps (CFN), learned BulgarianMilitary.com, quoting Israel Defense.

The radios will be integrated as part of the SIC²CFN project designed to improve the Corps’ C4ISR capabilities.

The deal reportedly involves PNR-1000 soldier radios, MCTR-7200HH handheld radios, and MCTR-7200-V550 vehicular radios, as well as auxiliary equipment.

Under the $40-million SIC²CFN project, Elbit supplied the Brazilian Marine Corps with a variety of systems and technologies, including battlefield management systems and the SMARTmr-M – a tactical multimedia router and application server for mobile platforms and command posts. Deliveries of all systems pertaining to the project are expected to be completed by October 2019.
