BRASILIA, (BM) – Elbit Systems will supply E-LynX radios to the Brazilian Marine Corps (CFN), learned BulgarianMilitary.com, quoting Israel Defense.
The radios will be integrated as part of the SIC²CFN project designed to improve the Corps’ C4ISR capabilities.
The deal reportedly involves PNR-1000 soldier radios, MCTR-7200HH handheld radios, and MCTR-7200-V550 vehicular radios, as well as auxiliary equipment.
Under the $40-million SIC²CFN project, Elbit supplied the Brazilian Marine Corps with a variety of systems and technologies, including battlefield management systems and the SMARTmr-M – a tactical multimedia router and application server for mobile platforms and command posts. Deliveries of all systems pertaining to the project are expected to be completed by October 2019.
Elbit recently won a contract to supply E-LynX soldier radios to the German Army.
