The US Suspects a New Chemical Attack of the Assad Regime in Syria

WASHINGTON (BGM) – The United States announced it suspected that the Syrian government forces had carried out a new chemical attack and threatened with a decisive strike back, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

The State Department said it was still investigating the indications that the regime used chemical weapons on Sunday during its offensive in Idlib, the Syria’s largest area controlled by rebel groups.

“We are still gathering information on this incident, but we repeat our warning that if the Assad regime uses chemical weapons, the United States and our allies will respond quickly and appropriately,” Morgan Ortagus, State Department Spokesperson, said in a statement.

“The Assad regime’s culpability in horrific chemical weapons attacks is undeniable”, Ortagus said.
