PANAGYURISHTE, Bulgaria (BulgarianMilitary.com) – Opticoelectron announced that the past exhibition in Abu Dhabi – IDEX has passed more successfully than it was expected and has given answers to questions that may determine the fate of the company’s thermal imaging series, learned BulgarianMilitary.com
“As I said before – the Abu Dhabi exhibition is important for any military company. This year, however, for us it was very important at the first big forum to receive an answer to one specific question – how we developed our products in the field of thermovision. In fact, this was the first market test of the TERECON series and we received the first responses – we are going in the right direction,” said Eng. Boyan Garchev to BulgarianMilitary.com.
Last year, Opticoelectron has invested considerable funds in the modernization of different production units, including in this for development of thermal imaging sights. The company did not hide that they will do the same in the next 12 months, hinting that they will invest money to buy technology that is still unknown to our latitudes. And some of the investments will be targeted at the development of company’s own electronics, which to be used in the future for integration into their products.
According to Garchev, the other product that has provoked interest and a little unexpectedly is the forward artillery observer post Lartos. “Lartos has its time to be attentive at every exhibition where we present it. But especially at that in Abu Dhabi, it really arose interest and we actually got inquiries about it from several state and private military institutions. I would not be surprised if in the next months this product increases its market share among the products of our company “, comments Boyan Garchev.
The next exhibition at which the company will be presented is this in Istanbul in April, and indirectly Opticoelectron’s product range will be displayed by their partner at the upcoming exhibition in Baghdad, Iraq.
