Lanza is a family of advanced 3D radar systems based on a fully modular and scalable architecture, both in hardware equipment and software packages. The family features a big variety of options related to the configuration so that each end user may receive a system adapted to the relevant needs. In all cases, however, the most demanding and specific, operational requirements are achieved. These multi-scenario, multi-role radars meet the current NATO requirements and have advanced functionalities for meeting future challenges.

The global Defence and Security technology solutions supplier Indra has been working in the field of design, manufacturing, operation and integration of tri-dimensional radars for more than 30 years. All radar systems belonging to that family are 3D, solid state, operate in L band, apply pencil beam exploration (electronic control in elevation of radiation beams), with distributed architecture, redundant in critical elements, allowing for soft-fail degradation in the case of certain items failure. As of the moment, the LANZA radar family is in service on five of the continents.
