Watch: Molotov cocktails fly and set fire to an IRGC base in Iran
TEHRAN ($1=42,450.00 Iranian Rials) — The situation in Iran remains tense. Protesters again attacked the IRGC base with a Molotov cocktail. At the same time, the Iranian-Sunni group Jaish al-Adl is trying to take advantage of the tense situation in Iran by releasing propaganda materials to win over the masses of people who recently began to fight against the regime in Tehran with protests in the provinces of Sistan and Balochistan.

BulgarianMilitary.com recalls that days ago it was reported that active clashes continued around Tehran’s Evin Prison, with reports of shelling of the prison from outside, possibly by protesters. In addition, sounds of gunfire and explosions are heard in the prison, and there are suggestions that the security forces decided to shoot the prisoners to prevent them from escaping. IRGC units arrived at the prison area to disperse crowds of protesters.
Around Evin prison, everything started on October 15th, when a powerful explosion broke out on the prison grounds. Later, gunshots were heard in the area. The prison is known to house political prisoners, indicating a possible attempt by protesters to storm the prison to free sympathizers.
BulgarianMilitary.com recalls that on October 8, there was another clash between protesters and security forces in Tehran. In addition to the Iranian security forces, Arab mercenaries from Hezbollah and other Shia groups have reportedly appeared on the streets of the capital and have been actively involved in dispersing the disaffected.
The involvement of mercenaries in the suppression of protests can be quite remarkable since Iranian officials can throw all the dirty work on them. In such a scenario, state structures like the IRGC would actually go out of business and blame the bloodshed on foreigners.
It is worth noting that during the crackdown on protests in Iran’s Balochistan, which began on September 30, more than 90 civilians have already been killed. It is difficult to say exactly how many citizens have been killed across the country since the mass protests began.
Ukraine to Iran
Against the background of the “Iranian revolution” on Monday, October 17, Ukraine officially accused Iran of helping Russia. “We call on Tehran to immediately stop the supply of any weapons to Russia. Otherwise, Iran and its leadership will bear the heaviest responsibility,” the Ukrainian foreign ministry said.
