Denis Schmihal reported that Ukraine hopes to receive a new range of German heavy armored vehicles from its allies. We are talking about powerful tanks because it is precisely this weapon that the Ukrainian army lacks at the moment. Last Friday it became known that Ukraine expects to receive Abrams tanks from the US and Leopard 2 from Germany, the Ukrainian online portal mil.in.ua.org claims.
“We have a common vision of the need to increase the supply of artillery and air defense systems. First of all, an increase in the types of heavy weapons that have already been delivered or will be delivered soon: MARS-2 MLRS, Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled guns, IRIS-T air defense systems, and Gepard anti-aircraft guns,” the Ukrainian Prime Minister noted.
In addition, Dennis Schmihal spoke with Olaf Scholz about a possible increase in the supply of weapons that we are already receiving from Germany and using on the battlefield.
At the beginning of the full-scale war, Germany only supplied Ukraine with protective equipment or helmets, but today the military also receives modern weapons: air defense systems, jet systems, and artillery systems.

The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine wants to receive even more support from Germany as soon as possible. Now the armed forces of Ukraine hope to have modern battle tanks: not only German but also American.
We remind you that at the beginning of August, the armed forces of Ukraine received the second batch of Gepard self-propelled artillery installations from Germany.
