The planes were provided by an allied country. In total, it is planned to carry out five or six flights with 75 pallets of ammunition – about 1000 full shots. As Defense Minister Margarita Robles pointed out yesterday to the European Union Defense Minister, this delivery has been requested with the “highest priority” by Ukraine.

Likewise, in response to the urgent requirement of the Ukrainian authorities for materials and uniforms for winter conditions, the first six truck trailers with the materials prepared throughout August have already left.

Another four trucks are scheduled to leave today to complete a total of 25 trailers that will transport more than 1,600 pallets in the coming days. The trucks, the ministry said, will leave Spain as and when Ukrainian authorities require them to avoid saturating their storage and distribution capacity.

Spain sends medical supplies

On the other hand, in response to the express request made yesterday by the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, during the ministerial meeting in Prague, the Ministry of Defense of Spain will proceed to send a package of medical supplies before September 6.
