MUSON is an electro-optical precision system for monitoring, guarding, observing, and surveying large land areas. MUSON has an integrated daytime optical system and IR / Thermal Imaging Optical System. The range of the system is 20+ km and is built with open architecture, which allows future upgrades or modernization of the software. The system can be provided for use in several languages, as well as be integrated into various configurations of SUVs or pickups.

BulgarianMilitary.com recalls that only a few weeks ago, North Macedonian border police also acquired several MUSON systems. MUSON is currently interested in the Middle East, as well as private Arab companies that need to protect large oil fields and production areas.

“We are constantly upgrading MUSON. The team that develops and integrates the system provides the end-user with efficient, precise, and high-performance vehicles capable of recognizing, tracking, or detecting various targets,” an official from the company said. “Open architecture software allows MUSON to be autonomous i.e. collaboration with motion sensors placed at different distances along the border furrow, or large production areas and fields ”.

The MUSON system is integrated on a telescopic tower that can be unfolded at different heights, again according to customer requirements. The system is independent of the vehicle and can be operated at rest or in motion. Most often the system operators are two people.

In case of interest and modification, the system also allows it to be integrated on the infantry fighting armored vehicle turret, officials said.
