At the same time, Ukraine may receive Polish T-72 tanks. However, whether they will receive them depends on the negotiations between Poland and the United Kingdom. The idea is for Poland to acquire British Challenger 2 tanks, in exchange for which Poland will send its T-72 tanks in support of the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to unofficial information, Warsaw has 127 T-72A / T-72M1 units, which are currently in service in the Polish army, and there are 257 tanks in stock.
