The fire-and-forget system, referred to in the German Armed Forces as the Leichtes Wirkmittel 1800+, must be used with shoulder support and be able to attack precision targets at a distance of up to 2000 m. The first fire tests of the system have already been made.

Enforcer will allow soldiers to establish themselves even in complex operational scenarios. After extensive tests and field trials by the Bundeswehr, the first operational missiles are to be delivered to the army in 2024. MBDA Germany says it is working on schedule and “we will continue to do everything possible to accomplish these tasks.”

The modular system architecture of the guided-missile offers the ability to adapt the guided missile for additional applications on land, at sea, and in the air with little development effort.

MBDA Germany says that such a development of the guided-missile will allow the company to implement a concept for a family of missiles. For example, it is possible to replace the multi-effect warhead with an armor-piercing warhead or to design the Enforcer as a light UAS missile system.

MBDA Germany has developed a virtual reality simulator that provides a realistic picture of a simple operation in different application scenarios for different purposes. The VR simulator can become part of a training concept for future export customers.

The Fire-and-forget MBDA Enforcer system weighs 12 kg and has a range of up to 2,000 m. The system has a passive 24h ability and integrated ability Lock On Before Launch [LOBL], as well as a multi-effect warhead with multimode fuze. The missile can operate in air blast mode. One soldier is enough to operate the Fire-and-forget MBDA Enforcer system.
