Israel spends $ 1.5 billion on attacks on Iran’s nuclear program
TEL AVIV, ($1=3.21 Israeli Shekels) – Iran’s nuclear program, built of underground power plants and bunkers, will be attacked by Israel in the coming years, learned BulgarianMilitary.com, citing Israeli sources.
According to Israeli media, the government in Tel Aviv has already voted a budget of nearly $ 1.5 billion for future attacks on Iran’s nuclear program. The money is earmarked for the use of fighter jets, reconnaissance drones, attacking unmanned aerial vehicles, or kamikaze drones. It turns out that 60% of the voted budget against Iran comes as an accumulation of unrealized operations in recent years.
Israeli sources note that the voted budget comes just days after the United States successfully tested its new GBU-72 Advanced 5K Penetrator bomb. However, Israel does not have bombers, so its use is impossible. On the other hand, Israel has the “little brother” of this bomb – GBU-28 secretly sold in 2018 and already revealed as such a sale by the Israeli media.
Sources say the bomb is capable of dealing with Iranian bunkers and underground fortifications, as the bomb was tested against Hamas this May during the “missile war” between Israel and the Palestinian radical group.
Israeli-Iranian proxy war / cold war
Communication between Israel and Iran is mostly threatening and hostile. Such has been the relationship between the two countries for a very long time. This situation is known as the proxy conflict, the proxy war, or the Cold War between the two countries.
The conflict “appeared” on the world map after the Iranian revolution in 1979. In all the years to this day, Iran aims to destroy Israel as a state. Tehran supports groups and organizations that are hostile to the Jewish state and people. On the other hand, Israel is worried about Iran’sIran’s nuclear program. The proximity of the two countries worries Tel Aviv that Iranians could use them against Israel if Iran has nuclear weapons. Israel also finds its allies in the face of the United States and Saudi Arabia, which are apparent opponents of Iran.
Thus, this conflict gradually turned into an Israeli-Iranian war. The competition has been going on since the start of the Syrian civil war. According to Iran, Israel rules by an illegitimate “Zionist regime,” a Tehran problem. Iran’sIran’s other point of reference is that the United States is hostile to Muslims because it supports Israel.
