US intelligence with new data on the COVID-19 pandemic
WASHINGTON, (BM) – According to a US intelligence report, three researchers from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) sought hospital care in November 2019, a month before Chinese authorities reported COVID-19. This information is sharing by the American edition of the Wall Street Journal.
According to journalists, such a statement is read in an undisclosed report by US intelligence. If accurate, it will give a new direction to an international investigation or confirm the thesis China developed the virus in an artificial environment.

China has denied the allegations since speculation began. But journalists make an interesting analogy with the time this report appeared – just before the next meeting of the World Health Organization, which determines and recommends what measures to follow during epidemics around the world.
The National Security Council declined to comment on the report but reiterated the Biden administration’s concerns that the virus had been “released by a Chinese laboratory.”
“We’re not going to make pronouncements that prejudge an ongoing WHO study into the source of SARS-CoV-2, but we’ve been clear that international experts should thoroughly evaluate sound and technically credible theories,” the Council spokeswoman said for national security.
Further investigation is needed
Further investigation of the evidence is needed to confirm it conclusively, said one US intelligence official. There are opinions in both extremes among former and current employees of the services noted in the American publication.
Following the inauguration of Joe Biden’s administration, the White House is trying to communicate with China to build a mechanism for greater transparency in this investigation. China is struggling to overcome such talks, but Washington hopes that with the help of a broader public attitude, sooner or later, Beijing will agree. We remind you that in addition to the United States, other countries that insist on a more in-depth investigation are Norway, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
China does not believe but does not rule out the possibility
China does not believe the virus came from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). Still, a press release issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry said, “this is unlikely,” which does not rule out this possibility.

According to Beijing, such allegations by Washington are an attempt at “advertising and distraction,” the foreign ministry said.
However, the latest revelations in the US intelligence record remain questionable – whether these data are new or from the time of Donald Trump. His administration pushed the idea that the Chinese laboratory was to blame for the leak of the virus.
Beijing also refused to provide its raw data on the early cases of COVID-19.
