Israel is ‘reaping’ in Gaza – 1000 bombs in 40 minutes
TEL AVIV, (BM) – Israeli planes struck today with more than 1,000 guided bombs aimed at the Gaza Strip to destroy the Hamas subway, learned BulgarianMilitary.com citing Sega. As the military calls the terrorist group’s underground tunnels, the Jerusalem Post reported. Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Jonathan Conricus told reporters that the air force had the support of ground forces, which have not yet entered the Gaza Strip. Since the beginning of the current stage of the conflict against military targets of radicals in the Palestinian enclave, this operation was the largest.

“During the night, 160 planes simultaneously attacked 150 targets in 40 minutes. Since the beginning of the conflict, this was the largest operation, involving ground forces that also worked on specific targets. No Israeli soldiers entered the Gaza Strip last night. The target of the attack was a network of tunnels used by the radicals for transport and shelter under the city of Gaza,” Conricus said.
The army spokesman noted that several media outlets reported on Friday the start of a ground phase operation in Gaza, which was not valid. Still, the military blamed it, noting that the army’s press release in English was “inaccurate.” Asked if Israel intended to launch a ground operation in the enclave, Conricus said the military “has plans, there are training orders” but could not give information about its intentions to journalists.
Conricus also said that according to estimates by the Israeli military Palestinian radicals from the Gaza Strip, they had fired more than 1,800 rockets at Israel since May 10, 430 of which fell on the territory of the Palestinian enclave itself without flying across the border. As a result, seven civilians were killed in Israel and one soldier at the border, he added. Three waves of rockets were fired from Gaza into the Jewish state last night, Conricus said.

Since May 10, the Israeli army and Palestinian radicals in Gaza have continued to exchange rocket attacks, followed by riots at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem in early May, where hundreds of Palestinians were affected.
As the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported earlier, 109 Palestinians, including 28 minors and 15 women, have been the victims of Israeli attacks on the sector, which have not stopped since Monday.
Iranian drones attack in Israel
Russian media report that Hamas has begun using Iranian drones to carry out attacks on cities in Israel. According to Aviapro, the Hamas political-military movement used strike drones, including kamikaze drones.
According to the Israeli media Jerusalem Post, Hamas has Shehab drones, which Iran has developed based on the Iranian Ababil drone. There is no official information about the presence of drones in the Hamas movement. Still, sources claim that Iran armed the political-military movement with at least 30 unmanned aerial vehicles at the beginning of the year.
And if the Russian media does not indicate the source of its information and raises doubts about its authenticity, then The Times of Israel confirmed the claims of the Russians.
According to the website, the Ministry of Defense sources say that Hamas uses drones to strike Israel. Even in the last hours, the IDF confirmed that the Iron Dome had shot down a drone that had entered the country’s airspace. We remind you that yesterday, an Israeli F-16 shot down another drone, which was supposed to be a kamikaze drone.
It remains unknown whether Hamas’ first attempts at drone bombing and destruction or whether the movement has used dozens since the beginning of the conflict.
What is happening in the area?
The violence began after the focus fell on controversial judicial and political actions over the Palestinian-populated Sheikh Jara district of East Jerusalem. An Israeli court initially ruled that Palestinians should be evicted from the neighborhood and be populated with Israelis. A hearing on the eviction followed, but it never ended last Sunday and was postponed.
On Monday, Jerusalem was subjected to a brief rocket attack by al-Quds and Hamas with a request on the eviction decision. Israel did not comply with the Palestinians, which led to a retaliatory strike and a rocket fire between the two countries for the second day in a row.
According to a field source, Israel has involved fighter jets and tanks in the conflict, which are hitting 130 targets in the Gaza Strip. These goals are related to the Hamas movement. According to the Israeli authorities, these goals are also associated with terrorist organizations.
The international community welcomes the actions of Israelis and Palestinians, but as statements from both sides make clear, both sides may reach no agreement soon.
