PANAGYURISHTE, (BM) – Years ago, when battles and wars were fought according to instead “crippled” tactics, the human resources involved in building military personnel were of particular importance. Most of the actions had a foretold end – the more soldiers you have, the better your chances of winning the battle. Of course, there are exceptions, but they represent a tiny percentage.
Today, wars do not depend so much on the available military personnel regarding the equipment he uses and his education. New technologies are replacing old military actions.
However, we decided to rank the top 10 largest armies according to their military personnel. So, just in case, we have this ranking. We have built the scale on several indicators, but the leader will be the most critical – active soldiers serving in an army.
10. Saudi Arabia – 480,000 troops
Saudi Arabia has a population of nearly 34 million people. Almost 16 million of them are ready to enlist in the military immediately. Approximately 590,000 people reach the required age each year to join the army. The total military personnel (soldiers, administration, support personnel) of Saudi Arabia is 505,500 people, of which 480,500 are in active military service (soldiers), and there are no waiting people in reserve.
9. Vietnam – 482,500 troops
Vietnam has a population of nearly 99 million people. Of these, almost 42 million are ready to enlist in the military immediately. Approximately 1.7 million people reach the required age each year to join the military. The total military personnel (soldiers, administration, support personnel) of Vietnam is 5,522,500 people, of which 482,500 are in active military service (soldiers), and no people are waiting in reserve.
