Israeli special forces have attacked an Iranian intelligence warship

TEL AVIV, (BM) – Israeli commandos have carried out a covert operation by placing magnetic mines on the Iranian intelligence ship Saviz. The military process was carried out on April 6 at the request of Saudi Arabia, three days before talks between Tehran and Riyadh.

This news was announced today by the Israeli webpage Debka. According to sources on the Israeli portal, the Israeli secret operation was carried out in the waters of the Red Sea. The publication claims that Saudi Arabia’s request to Israel was a reckless move, as the news of the involvement of Israeli sabotage commandos in the work of the Iranian intelligence ship has only led to new tensions on the Iran-Israel-Saudi Arabia axis.

“Israeli commandos planted a naval mine on the Iranian reconnaissance ship Saviz in the Red Sea off the coast of Eritrea on April 6, a few days before secret talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran began on April 9 in Baghdad. The attack on the Iranian intelligence and command ship, according to military and intelligence sources in Tikdabka, came after Riyadh and Abu Dhabi asked Benjamin Netanyahu to help them remove the Iranian threat in the Red Sea,” the Israeli media Debka said in the publication.

What happened on April 6 in the Red Sea?

Early around 6:00 am local time, the Iranian ship MV Saviz was shaken by an explosion. All international agencies spread the news. An Iranian spokesman told the media that Tehran would investigate the incident. According to preliminary information at the time, the ship fell into a field of mines.

Israel has not denied involvement in the assassination attempt on the Iranian ship. Israeli media have even confirmed that Tel Aviv has officially warned Washington of the impending attack. Only now, however, is it clear that the ship was not a cargo ship but a naval reconnaissance vessel of the Iranian army, under the guise of a cargo ship.

Israel has no practice of confirming such actions. Thus, Tel Aviv does not deny but does not verify the news of Israeli strikes on Syrian territory. This passivity is the rule among the Israeli military and governments. Tel Aviv only confirms attacks, airstrikes, and military actions resulting from revenge after an Israeli territory attack.

Israeli-Iranian proxy war / cold war

Communication between Israel and Iran is mostly threatening and hostile. Such has been the relationship between the two countries for a very long time. This situation is known as the proxy conflict, the proxy war, or the Cold War between the two countries.

The conflict “appeared” on the world map after the Iranian revolution in 1979. In all the years to this day, Iran aims to destroy Israel as a state. Tehran supports groups and organizations that are hostile to the Jewish state and people. On the other hand, Israel is worried about Iran’sIran’s nuclear program. The proximity of the two countries worries Tel Aviv that Iranians could use them against Israel if Iran has nuclear weapons. Israel also finds its allies in the face of the United States and Saudi Arabia, which are apparent opponents of Iran.

Thus, this conflict gradually turned into an Israeli-Iranian war. The competition has been going on since the start of the Syrian civil war. According to Iran, Israel rules by an illegitimate “Zionist regime,” a Tehran problem. Iran’sIran’s other point of reference is that the United States is hostile to Muslims because it supports Israel.
