KYIV, (BM) – The novelty motto: “Weapons for victory” – and what makes it so is the use of the most advanced technologies from one of the oldest weapons companies. I want to note right away that athletes from the Beretta Shooting Team took part in the development of the 694 models because it was their experience and wishes that helped to take into account all the shortcomings of the previous models. The novelty replaced the 692 models produced in 2013.

Well, now let’s take a look at what has changed.

The features of the Beretta 694 shotgun design

Now Beretta 694 is 25 grams heavier, which positively affects the overall balance of the gun. The stock is slightly longer, as is the pistol grip, which now has a more ergonomic shape and a new anti-slip notch for a secure grip even with a wet hand.

Beretta did the stock of natural oiled wood, class 2.5+. I want to note that there is a unique selection at the butt and the receiver’s junction, which increases the shooter’s viewing angle – this gives him an additional advantage over competitors.

The forend mounting system has undergone drastic changes, now instead of a lever – we have a very convenient button.

And on the block of barrels, there is a unique element that allows you to remove the shank during intensive use of the gun, thereby increasing its service life.

The company did the barrels of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum alloy, as before, made using cold forging and Steelium Plus drilling technology (taper length 300 mm). The barrel block has room for special weights to help balance the shotgun.

It is also possible to install additional weights in the stock, and thus it is possible to balance the gun for each shooter individually.

The trigger is adjusted using a special screwdriver that comes with the kit and has three positions – thus, the trigger pulling force and the distance from the pistol grip to the hook are regulated. The ejector system has changed, and now the kit includes spare ejector pins.

The complete set consists of 5 OCHP chokes, two spare pins for the ejector, a group of screwdrivers, a key for the stock, a collection of spacers for adjusting the B-Fast system, and 2 “Beretta” stickers for the barrel. Separately, I would like to note that the kit comes with an additional 20mm recoil pad from MicroCore (a 15mm recoil pad is installed on the butt plate).
