Kalashnikov reveals to the world the MP-155 Ultima smart shotgun [video]

MOSCOW, (BM) – The Russian Kalashnikov concern is ready to present to the world its latest development in the field of next-generation weapons. MP-155 Ultima is a smart shotgun designed by the legendary Russian brand designers and will be shown next week during the International Military Exhibition in Abu Dhabi – IDEX 2021.

MP-155 Ultima is the first such product in Russia. Its premiere already took place last year at the Russian exhibition Army-2020. According to a press release from Kalashnikov, MP-155 Ultima is designed to meet the requirements of a user who progresses with each passing year.

There has never been such a weapon on the market. The entry of the MP-155 Ultima is comparable only to the new iPhone presentation, said in an interview with Kalashnikov CEO Dmitry Tarasov. According to him, the smart shotgun can synchronize with modern electronic devices and mobile gadgets.

MP-155 Ultima is a smart shotgun designed to allow its user to build it in a modular way. The outer elements of the gun are made of B95T alloy and high-tech polymers. The weapon has a camera to record and broadcast video in Full HD format, digital display with clock, compass, stopwatch, timer, shot counter, and indicator for the remaining cartridges. The computer is housed in an adjustable warehouse.
