“For the first time abroad, we will show the K-16 armored personnel carrier and the K-17 infantry fighting vehicle on the excellent Boomerang wheeled platform. The Russian Ministry of Defense developed the platform; it has the highest combat and operational capabilities,” TLAS quoted Kladov as saying.

According to him, the latest platform’s uniqueness lies in creating on its basis vehicles with a wide range of applications with different weapons and equipment.

Boomerang is a promising unified wheeled armored platform developed by the Military Industrial Company. On its basis were created the wheeled BMP K-17, shown to the public for the first time in 2015 at the victory parade and the armored personnel carrier K-16. In the basic version, BMP K-17 is equipped with the Epoch combat module with a 30-mm automatic cannon with a coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun and Kornet anti-tank missiles. The K-16 armored personnel carrier has a combat module with a 12.7-mm machine gun.

Rostec will also present a Su-57 fighter and a Ka-226T helicopter

We will also show our other “bestsellers” – Su-35, MiG-35D, military transport Il-76MD-90A (E), refueling plane Il-78MK-90A “, informed Kladov.

According to him, Rostec will present the light multifunctional helicopter Ka-226T at the exhibition. “This is an ideal car for local climatic and physical geographical conditions. I am sure that our other helicopters will also attract a lot of attention: Mi-28NE, Mi-171Sh and Mi-17V-5, combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter Ka-52 and radar-patrol helicopter Ka-31,” Kladov said.

“This year, we present many of the latest Russian developments in Bangalore – aviation equipment, air defense systems, armored vehicles, and ammunition. Also, we plan to offer our promising civic programs in the field of electronics, engines, and aircraft,” said Kladov.
