5 awesome singles games released in 2020

PANAGYURISHTE, (BM) – Many have already labeled 2020 as the “worst” year in ten years. Epidemics, economic downturns, rising prices and a bunch of other unpleasant things that fell on our heads this year.

But in the gaming industry, 2020 has become one of the best in recent years, the announcement of a new generation of consoles and new long-awaited projects, heralded the revival of the army of “waiters” who are already looking forward to Stalker 2 and Cyberpunk.

But what if you don’t want to wait and plunge into the game world and your hands itch? The solution is simple! My selection of games that will definitely appeal to fans of the single player.

Half-Life: Alyx

We did not wait for the third part this year, but in return we received an equally high-quality and I am not afraid of the word, a breakthrough product. The company focused on virtual reality and made the right decision by causing a sensation in the market, thereby giving the green light to other VR projects. Valve showed that a VR project is not only an indie project in which there is neither sense nor purpose, but a real drama theater in which the player is directly involved.

Doom eternal

No one will argue with the idea that Doom used to be just a meat shooter with errands in monotonous locations and mountains of weapons that could be interesting to chop off crowds. But this year, Doom got an interesting lore and its own unique style. There was a lot of hype around the game, so to sum up I can say that this is a solid shooter that can captivate another for a week.

Desperados III

The genre of “tactical shooters” meets one of the most prominent representatives in the person of Desperados. Each map is a unique location meticulously written down to the smallest detail. The developers have tried very hard to make the player feel the full range of emotions during shootouts, each character has his own unique skills, you will have to use them all to the maximum, so the tactical component is at a high level here. If you have long wanted to try a new genre, then this game will definitely be a discovery for you.

Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord

The long-awaited sequel to the beloved medieval “mochilov” was released this year. But I think many of you know about this, because MaB2 has been met with quite positive reviews on Steam and has already become one of the most successful projects of 2020. Beautiful graphics, a bunch of details, the ability to capture and protect their locks, all this did the trick and many got exactly the product they had dreamed of for so long. If you are looking for a game that will captivate you for several months, then this is Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord!

Ori and The Will of The Wisps

The adventure in the fairy forest continues! Ori is again forced to join the battle against the forces of evil. The previous parts were received very warmly and I think it deservedly so. An interesting plot that can cause a tear, a very nice picture, a large number of secrets that need to be solved (which by the way increases the game’s replayability), interesting moments, excellent accompaniment make the game a worthy representative of the platforming genre.
