“This is a confession that [the USA] provoked a war on a false pretext. They killed more than a million people, destroyed the whole country. This is a crime against humanity,” the Foreign Minister said.
So he responded to Trump on Twitter, where he accused the former head of the Department of State Colin Powell that because of his harsh rhetoric, the United States got involved in a protracted war.
“Colin Powell, a real stiff who was very responsible for getting us into the disastrous Middle East Wars, just announced he will be voting for another stiff, Sleepy Joe Biden. Didn’t Powell say that Iraq had “weapons of mass destruction?” They didn’t, but off we went to WAR! ” – wrote the American leader in Twitter.
So he reacted to the fact that the former head of the Department of State decided to vote for Joe Biden, the most likely Democratic candidate in the upcoming elections, the former vice president of the country.
In 2003, Powell called on members of the UN Security Council to take action on Iraq. Then Washington argued that in the country there are huge stocks of biological weapons, among which, for example, anthrax. In 2003, the military operation of the United States and its allied countries against Iraq began.
