According to the source, we are talking about many MiG-29 fighters that were previously seen on the territory of Libya.

On the presented video frames you can see that a massive military convoy consisting of dozens of vehicles, which included several hundred people, was eliminated by an air strike. The military convoy was completely destroyed by airstrike, which disrupted the offensive operation on the position of the forces of the Libyan National Army, while, apparently, the speech. We are talking about multiple air strikes, as evidenced by the destruction of enemy equipment at large distances from the shooting point.

“Twitter” account “Last Defender”, which published the shots of the destroyed military convoy preparing the attack on the Libyan Sirte, expressed confidence that we are talking about MiG-29 fighters, which is probably due to the fact that these combat aircraft significantly exceed the capabilities of the air defense systems that are in service with the GNA forces, and if other combat aircraft were used, the latter would almost certainly have been shot down.

Among other things, a few days ago, the Twitter account of the Syrian Military Capabilities reported that the Russian MiG-29 fighters transferred to Syria were performing mysterious flights to North Africa, apparently thereby covering the Libyan National Army after the latter suffered a series of devastating defeats, having lost two air bases and a large number of weapons.

Libyan civil war

In Libya, armed clashes are currently taking place between supporters of different leaders. The country is led by the Government of National Accord (GNA), headed by Prime Minister Fayez Saraj, the “eastern government” led by Abdullah Abdurrahaman at-Thani.

The eastern government is supported by the commander of the Libyan National Army, Khalifa Haftar.

Recall that January 13 in Moscow, negotiations were held between the heads of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Khalif Haftar and the Government of National Accord (GNA) Faiz Sarraj. Also present were members of the Foreign Ministries of Russia and Turkey.

On the meeting the commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, has notified Russia about the conditions for continuing negotiations on the signing of a peace agreement in Libya.

According to the requirements of Haftar, the militias operating in Libya are required to surrender weapons in the period from 45 to 90 days. This process should be controlled by a special commission created by the LNA together with the UN

Haftar also refused to recognize Turkey as an intermediary in resolving the situation in Libya, since the Turkish side is not neutral and supports the Government of National Accord (GNA).
