The Russian hypersonic ‘super digital hunter’ goes on the international market

MOSCOW, (BM) – Rosoboronexport has begun promoting the 59N6-TE mobile radar station capable of detecting hypersonic targets on the world market. According to the press service of the company, Rosoboronexport expects high demand for a new radar in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East and North Africa, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

“In developing the export version of the radar, the growing importance of air defense systems in ensuring the security of states, as well as the needs of foreign customers to increase the intelligence capabilities of air defense units and units,” said Alexander Mikheev, general director of Rosoboronexport.

According to the company, the mobile three-coordinate radar 59N6-TE is exclusively Russian development, made on the modern domestic element base with digital processing and signal conditioning. According to Rosobornexport, the radar effectively detects aerodynamic and ballistic objects.

Station 59N6-TE operates in the decimeter range and is capable of detecting targets flying at a speed of up to 8000 km / h at a range of up to 450 km and an altitude of up to 200 km. At the same time, the radar can accompany at least 1 thousand objects and recognize eight classes of targets.

According to the developers, the station is able to separately separate anti-radar missiles and warn combat crew about the danger of defeat, including high-precision weapons and homing missiles.
