Jordan threatened Israel with ‘mass conflict’, might use Iranian missiles in Syria
AMMAN, (BM) – Against the background of the start of the annexation of Samaria and Judea, the king of Jordan threatened Tel Aviv with a full-scale war, despite the position of the rest of the world community, learned BulgarianMilitary.com
In an interview published Friday by the German daily Der Spiegel, Abdullah insisted that a two-state solution was “the only way forward” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

King of Jordan Abdullah warned that if Israel moved forward with plans to join parts of the West Bank, it would lead to a “mass conflict” with his country, and did not rule out the termination of Amman’s peace agreement with the Jewish state.
“What would happen if the Palestinian National Authority collapsed? There would be more chaos and extremism in the region. If Israel really annexed the West Bank in July, it would lead to a massive conflict with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,” he said, when asked by his interviewer about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s intention to “take advantage of the opportunity that [US President Donald] Trump has created to seize large parts of Palestine.”
“We agree with many countries in Europe and the international community that the law of strength should not apply in the Middle East,” the king added, when asked if his country – one of only two Arab nations, along with Egypt, to have signed a peace deal with Israel – could suspend that treaty.
It should be clarified that this is far from the first warning from Jordan, which, obviously, indicates a willingness to really start a full-scale military conflict with Israel, while experts do not exclude that Jordan could very well gain the support of other Middle Eastern countries, including Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Egypt, Syria, etc.

“In Israel, it is obviously not even imagined that this country will simply lose the modern military conflict – the missiles of the same Iran, actively deployed on the territory of Syria, will be enough to spread half of the Israeli territory,” a military expert said.
It should be noted that a few months earlier, Israel announced its plans for the annexation of Samaria and Judea.
