The Pentagon began development of new Javelin anti-tank missiles
WASHINGTON, (BM) – The production of a new model of anti-tank missile systems Javelin began the American company Lockheed Martin, learned BulgarianMilitary.com citing the Lockheed statement.

The new model of the complex will be called Javelin F-Model with the assigned article number FGM-148F. The release says that the main work will be aimed at improving the warhead of the rocket, which will have to break through armor with dynamic protection.
The company confirmed that the US Department of Defense placed an order for 45 thousand new anti-tank systems.
Lockheed Martin is one of the main US military-industrial corporations, which specializes in the manufacture of products in the field of shipbuilding, aircraft, aerospace technology, logistics, automation of postal services and airports. The company receives 95% of orders from the US government.
