Did Elon Musk help the US to create an absolute weapon against Russia?

According to Russian military expert Alexei Leonkov, thanks to the Mask group, the United States can gain access to information networks, provide the effect of a constant presence, and, quite likely, can even be used to launch a large-scale nuclear attack on Russian territory from any corner of the planet.

“When the Starlink satellite constellation reaches 12 thousand <…>, the United States will completely switch to a new wireless format,” Leonkov said in an interview with Zvezda weekly.

According to experts, taking into account the fact that a constellation of 12 thousand satellites will be placed around the planet, and the spacecraft themselves can carry out a quick data exchange, it is logical to assume that Washington will gain not only control over Russian weapons, for example by taking control, but also may well use small spacecraft to coordinate attacks on Russian territory.

However, the opinions of experts were quite divided, in particular, there were also those who believed that Leonkov’s arguments were unfounded.

“These are nothing more than assumptions not backed up by any real facts. Yes, the USA can gain control over information networks in Russia, but no more than that” experts say.
