Iran will attack any US ship threatens country’s security, IRGC commander said

TEHRAN, (BM) – The deterioration of the situation between the US Navy and the Iranian military led to the fact that official Tehran took radical steps, announcing the destruction of US ships at its territorial waters, learned citing news agency Aviapro.

Such information was announced after Trump demanded to start drowning Iranian ships appearing in the visibility range of the American fleet, and to do this without warning.

According to the commander of the IRGC, Iran is “determined” to protect the territorial integrity and national security of the country. “We gave orders to our Navy, if a warship or US unit threatens our security, then it will be attacked,” Salami quoted the Iranian media as saying.

Recall that the US Navy accused the Iranian military boats from the IRGC of “dangerous maneuvers and provocations” near the warships of the United States fleeton April 15 in the Persian Gulf. On April 22, US President Donald Trump wrote on his Twitter page that he ordered US ships to “destroy any Iranian combat boats if they pursue American ships at sea.”

“Trump did a stupid thing by announcing the start of pressure on Iran. Even taking into account the fact that a large number of US military bases are located in this region, Iranian ballistic missiles can easily destroy them now – it takes only a few minutes to prepare for an attack,” military specialists note.
