This was announced on Tuesday by US Permanent Representative to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison at a briefing ahead of the videoconference of NATO defense ministers, which will be held April 15, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.
“Opponents are watching us. Our military is ready everywhere except Iraq, where the mission is temporarily suspended. However, we are ready, we continue to exercise our deterrence and defense capabilities. Our opponents must be aware that we, of course, can give an answer any aggressive action that could be taken,” she said, answering a question about how the pandemic affected the readiness of the US and NATO to respond to military threats.
