A military aircraft was downed in Libya; Turkey lost drones; Houthis repel attacks

Libyan army lost a military plane, the crew died

The Libyan National Army (LNA) lost the plane during clashes in the north-west of the country, the crew died, spokesman for the LNA Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari said at a news conference on April 12.

“The LNA lost a military aircraft on April 12 during clashes in Al-Khish … the crew of the aircraft died,” the representative of the LNA said.

At the same time Turkish army drones attacked an ambulance in the city of Beni Walid, the Libyan National Army (LNA) press service said on April 12.

“Last night, they [Turkish UAVs] attacked ambulances in the city of Beni Walid,” the LNA said.

On the eve of the LNA reported the downing of 2 UAVs in Turkey near Tripoli.

Houthis repel the offensive of the Arab coalition

The six attacks by the Saudi coalition on various fronts, which lasted from an early afternoon until noon, were successfully repelled by the army and the people’s committees of the Yemeni Houthis, a spokesman for the Houthis armed forces said. On April 10, Saba news agency reported this.

A spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, reported that three attempts to break through the front occurred in the districts of Kaniya, Al-Jaribat and Natea in the province of Al-Baida, two more attempts in the Sarva region of Marib province and one in the El-Dhabab area in Taiz.

A representative of the Houthis noted that the attacker suffered heavy losses, dozens of people were killed and injured. Also, he said, the coalition’s military aircraft delivered seven attacks on various areas in Al-Jawf province.
