MOSCOW, (BM) – Along with the reflection of the Turkish threat, our military has to enter into a tough confrontation with the American occupiers almost daily.

Both sides are pulling together new units into the areas of contact.

Columns of American military equipment are coming from Iraq to Syria. Russia, however, is strengthening the defense of its base at El-Kamyshly airport. Al-Masdar News, citing sources in the Syrian army, reports on the transfer of Russian military equipment. Two dozen armored vehicles and a large number of military personnel arrived in Al-Khasak.

On the way, the Russian convoy once again ran into an American military patrol near the city of Tal Tamr in the western part of Al-Hasakeh province. However, the US patrol could not prevent the advancement of the Russian column.

The confrontation between Russian and American troops escalated in the last two months, when both sides began the struggle for control of highway roads. Massive American armored cars are trying to push Russian patrol cars to the side of the highway.

The United States seeks to control the northern part of Syria, where it is engaged in theft of oil. In the El-Kamyshly region, over and over again, American patrols stumble upon Syrian posts that do not allow them to continue. In this Syrian military helps the local population, blocking the road.
