‘If US makes a mistake in Iraq, the answer will not be limited to Iraqi territory’, Iran warns

TEHRAN, (BM) – Iran is preparing attacks on US military bases in Iraq, wrote U.S. President Donald Trump on Twitter, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

According to him, attacks should be expected either from Iran, or from pro-Iranian forces. Such is the information that has reached him.

“If this happens, Iran will pay a very high price!” Trump said.

Aggression against Iran, under the pretext that he allegedly wants to attack the US military bases in Iraq, will turn out to be a big problem for the United States, the head of the Iranian Army Strategic Research Center Ahmad Reza Purdastan told reporters.

Commenting on the statement by US President Donald Trump that Iran is going to attack US bases in Iraq on its own or with the help of its forces in the Middle East, Purdastan said: “If the Americans make a mistake in Iraq, the answer will not be limited to Iraqi territory.”

According to him, in this case, the United States will not be greeted, since they are not ways to create such a military front in Iraq that would defeat Iran and its resistance forces.

Recall that the US military occupies several bases in Iraq. On some, it was decided to place Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. Americans do not plan to leave Iraq.
