“In Damascus, Sergei Shoygu was received by the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad. During the talks, issues were discussed of ensuring a stable cessation of hostilities in the Idlib de-escalation zone, stabilizing the situation in other parts of Syria, as well as various aspects of military-technical cooperation in the framework of a joint struggle with international terrorist groups,” the Russian MoD statement said.
