Given the large-scale losses of the Turks in Libya, the assistance of the Libyan national army can be very helpful, especially since Turkey suffered tremendous losses in just two weeks of the war against the Syrian army.

“The exchange of data between units of the Libyan National Army (LNA) and the official government of the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) on the movements of militants from Syrian Idlib, which are being flown by Turkey to support the so-called Libyan National Harmony Government, will contribute to a more effective fight against terrorists and radicals – mercenaries of Ankara” the expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists Andrei Koshkin said.

Koshkin thus commented on the message of the LNA spokesman, Major General Ahmad al-Mismari, in which he informed that the command of the army field marshal Khalifa Haftar plans to establish cooperation with the Syrian government on the issue of terrorists being sent by Turkey to Libya.

Al-Mismari noted that according to the latest data, in Libya there are now at least 7.5 thousand jihadists who ended up in the North African country not without the help of Ankara, the Nation News resource reports.

Experts do not exclude that Syria can transmit to the Haftar army data on the movements of militants in Libya, while the Libyan national army will take appropriate measures to eliminate terrorists, moreover, on approach to the country’s borders.

In response to this, the Libyan National Army may well transfer its troops to the Syrian fronts, which will ensure a more successful advance of the SAA in the liberation of Idlib.
