British fighters intercepted anti-submarine aircraft of the Russian Navy

As previously reported in the press service of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Federation, two Russian long-range anti-submarine Tu-142 aircraft on Saturday flew over the neutral waters of the Barents, Norwegian, North Seas and the Atlantic Ocean.
“The flights were carried out in strict accordance with international airspace use regulations. The air route passed over the neutral waters of the Barents, Norwegian, North Seas and the Atlantic Ocean,” the Northern Fleet said in an Interfax message.
The Russian military reported that the pilots flew to the maximum range with a refueling in the air from the Il-78 tanker aircraft in the southern part of the Norwegian Sea.
According to the Northern Fleet, flight missions by Tu-142 crews were worked out over the waters of the Iberian Atlantic (near IF – IF).
