Turkey deployed multiple launch rocket systems Hurricane in Idlib (video)

ANKARA, (BM) – Turkish Armed Forces deployed T-300 Kasirga (“Hurricane”) multiple launch rocket launchers (MLRS) in the Syrian province of Idlib, learned BulgarianMilitary.com citing Lenta.ru and IHA newspapper.

Kasirga – the most powerful and long-range MLRS of the Turkish army. The caliber of the system is 302 mm, the firing range is up to 100 kilometers. Thus, while in Idlib, Kasirga can attack targets in provinces such as Aleppo, Hama and Latakia, which are controlled by the Syrian army.

Turkey began to actively build up its military group in Idlib amid an active offensive by the Syrian army in January-February. On February 20, pro-Turkish militants, with the support of army artillery, launched a major counterattack in the area of ​​the village of Nairab, but it was repelled by the joint actions of Syrian troops and Russian aviation.
