An airstrike against militants of pro-Turkish gangs was struck in the area of the village of Nairab. The fire was open at the moment when the terrorists tried to seize the village.
On Thursday, February 20, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria reported that pro-Turkish militants, with the support of Turkish artillery, broke through the defenses of the Syrian Arab army in the region of Kminas and Nairab. The support of the Russian Air Forces helped repel all attacks.
Currently, Idlib remains the only of the four de-escalation zones that the Syrian Arab army has not yet been able to take control of. At the same time, Turkey, despite its obligations under international agreements, provides support to the militants, aggravating the situation in Idlib.
