Damage was subjected to Damascus International Airport, as well as facilities located in the immediate vicinity.

The missile strike launched by the Mediterranean Sea and from the airspace of neighboring Lebanon was only partially repelled.

Some of the missiles fired by Israeli fighters were able to overcome the boundaries of air defense systems located both in the Golan Heights area and in the suburbs of Syrian Damascus, as a result of which a large military depot, where, presumably, the ammunition was located, was destroyed. however, at the same time, the Syrian air defense systems managed to bring down part of the missiles.

Information about the victims, injuries and material damage is not yet available, but experts draw attention to the fact that the strike on the Syrian capital was inflicted, apparently with the approval of the Russian side, since the Syrian air defense systems were not attacked by fighters, which raises a lot of questions about this.

It should be clarified that initially there was information that the attack on Syria was carried out by French fighters, since a few hours before it, the French aircraft carrier Charles to Gaulle approached the coast of Syria at a strike distance, but later it became known that the attacks were IDF.
