A day earlier, pro-Turkish militants attacked the positions of the Russian and Syrian military in the Aleppo region, and a few hours later, the largest militant group located in the city of Al-Bab was already destroyed by the most powerful strikes of the Russian air forces.

According to preliminary estimates, as a result of an unexpected strike by Russian military aircraft, the militants lost several dozen people, two warehouses with weapons and ammunition, as well as several vehicles.

Some sources said that Russian military aviation simply demolished the buildings used by the militants, which indicates the great effectiveness of the bombing.

Given the fact that the area is actively used by terrorists to attack the Syrian government forces and the positions of the Russian military, it is likely that an offensive operation in this direction will be organized in the near future.

It should be clarified that at the moment, the Syrian offensive in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo is seriously hampered by the transfer of its forces to these areas by Turkey, which does not allow it to effectively strike at terrorist position areas, while it is possible that Turkish troops may also begin to attack the positions of the Syrian army, which, by the way, Erdogan said a few days ago.
