We are talking about domestic cruise missiles.

As you know, Yemen and Saudi Arabia are fighting a long battle against each other. Moreover, the field of their relations is an excellent illustration of the work of the US weapons on the one hand and domestic production on the other. Since Yemen has long received the support of the Soviet Union, unique weapons units are still stored in their warehouses. Apparently, Yemeni rebels also have cruise missiles.

We are talking about the P-1 “Arrow” or “Pike”, according to NATO classification – “Scraper”. Although it was originally used as an anti-ship weapon, Yemeni rebels discovered the possibility of launching it from the ground. According to the information publication “South Front” on the eve of the rebels launched at least one such missile against Saudi Arabia.

However, despite the fact that in the province of Najran, the SA army prudently installed the American Patriot missile defense systems, the result was quite the opposite. P-1 “Arrow” first overcame the defense complex near the border, and after and not far from the field camp of the SA. Although the US is actively positioning its “Patriot” as the perfect weapon, there is little “patriotism” per se.
