Erdogan warned the Americans that the Incirlik airbase, located near the Turkish city of Adan, could not be used by the United States to strike Iran.

If Washington refuses to comply with this requirement, the Turkish armed forces will block the Incirlik airbase.

The situation in the Middle East sharply worsened after US President Donald Trump ordered the assassination of Iranian General Kassem Suleimani. Iran responded with missile attacks on two US military bases in Iraq. Accurate data on the damage caused to US troops as a result of this attack is not yet available.
